About this submission

Members of Joe Ives family and the Port Gamble S'klallam Tribe, bring to life a traditional story of how Mink catches a Salmon to eat but fails to honor an age old tradition of sharing the Salmon. Wolf tells Mink the story of the man who travels to the Land of Salmon people who teach him to return the uneaten parts of the Fish back to the water every year so that they can come back to life and return as live Salmon the next year. But Mink misses the point and has to go home hungry.
