At the end of 2020, Hans Zimmer put out a short-film contest. Any participant could use his music as their score. This was my once-in-a-lifetime chance. Together with my best friend/filmmaker, we started brainstorming the most insane story we've ever thought about. We thought about our own nightmares and deepest fears. For me, that meant my own experiences with sleep paralysis and the loss of a loved one. Soon we came up with this perpetual dream-state where the protagonist makes this journey to redemption where he needs to forgive himself for his sister's death.
