Jacarrea Garraway is deeply passionate using art as a social justice platform to create a wide array of representation of various types of worlds that are often underrepresented by mainstream cinema and media. As a former spelling bee enthusiast to a spoken word artist, now additionally a screenwriter, she is no stranger to how the right words can have a major impact on one's life, but also believes that words aren't always needed to speak the truth. She aspires to open her own film school someday and hopes that the content she creates will positively impact audiences worldwide.
