About this submission

As I was brainstorming for my college application film, I first chose to breakdown the components that I wanted in my story, and then created a unique situation that fit my criteria for storytelling: I knew I wanted an intriguing main character with flaws, a "real time" feel where the storyline existed in the allotted time for the film, a large juxtaposition between the main character and the obstacle of the story creating conflict, and a twist at the end that would leave viewers talking about it. The inspiration came to me one day and Mirage came to be!
