A Detroit native, Jabree Webber is a BA honors graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts and a MFA graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. This multihyphenate is a fearless artist with an incomparable drive, distinctive approach, and charismatic nature. Her first film, TOKENISM, garnered success at festivals making her an award-winning filmmaker. Her graduate thesis, IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT, screened at over a dozen festivals including: Cannes Film Festival Diversity Corner, LA Shorts, and BronzeLens. The film went on to win several awards including Audience Choice Award, Best Actress, and Best Women's Short. The film also received distribution and is currently available for streaming. As a Creative Executive at JuVee Productions she assisted in the production of THE MARCH and OPERATION OTHELLO (2019 Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film XR Arcade). As an actress, her theatrical work includes: UNBELIEVABLE (Netflix/CBS), recurring on THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS (TPS/OWN), THE BSU (Issa Rae Productions), award-winning indie films and plays from playwrights like Pearl Cleage, Tennessee Williams, and Aeschylus.
