About this submission

Working with a Native American production company many years ago, I've had the privilege of writing/directing projects that reflect the experiences of Natives living with the pain of the long term effects of Manifest Destiny. My intention is to co-write the feature "Intrepidus" with a Native writer and to hire Native cast and crew as well as mentor other future Native filmmakers on set. Told through the horror genre and lens of a Native American youth who lost his mother to suicide at the age of 7, "Intrepidus" will show the resiliency of Natives in the face of tragedy.
