About this submission

Following three young artists—Anna, Finley, and Keiji—the film explores the relationships each has in making art, crafting identity, and finding a voice in our modern world. Playing a live instrument, shooting analogue photos, and making physical art are tangible experiences of artistic and self expression that an increasingly digital, transactional society values less and less—and members of Gen Z seem to be rebelling against those notions. It’s a portrait of a few friends and maybe a generation.
