Dried vegetable has been a part of Kashmiri culture. These vegetables would be stored for winters as Kashmir used to be cut off from rest of the world during its winter season. The fish market was not particular to selling fishes only but also was one the biggest market for dried vegetables. But now, the culture of storing and eating dried vegetables is fading away as the new generation is making its way through. This story discusses those aspects and informs about what the market is about and also dried vegetables.
