We need more Black love stories. Black people are defined so rigidly in Hollywood. Most commonly we are gang members, victims of oppression, or comic relief. Love stories are rigid as well. Two people fall in love, nothing can stop their passion, nor break their bond. Neither of these are the full picture. I want to show real Black people, representing a real relationship. Arguments show love, pain shows love, and through that, togetherness shows love. Stranded on a nature date both physically and emotionally, Miy and Seattle don't know what to do. Can they find their way back?
