About this submission

The story starts when a simple shepherd boy (David) slays the giant military champion of the Philistine Empire named Goliath. Several years later he’s the captain of King Saul’s guard and beloved by everyone. However this is short lived when King Saul accuses David of wanting his crown and attempts to have him killed. David goes on the run helping the hopeless and poor along the way while unintentionally building an army of his own. Saul personally leads a force of 10,000 men to pursue and kill David. Things take a turn for the worst when the Philistine army attacks Israel with 100,000 troops capturing and destroying towns along the way. Saul decides to give up his chase of David and engage the Philistine war machine. In a large final battle David defeats the remaining Philistine force bringing peace to Israel.
