Logline: An adopted woman returns home to confront her abuser... carrying his ashes inside an urn.

I write 'psychological horror' which addresses childhood trauma. It's a difficult space to write fiction in and I am looking for the Sundance community to offer feedback and guidance.

(Warning - contains themes of sexual violence and trauma).

Ever since I relocated to Canada in 2015 from the UK, I have worked with emerging filmmakers, film festivals and for the Calgary Film Centre. I also have a useless Film Production degree! I've ended up writing psychological horror/supernatural thriller screenplays in my spare time here, maybe I enjoy the metaphorical and poetic leanings of the genre... or maybe it’s just Canada... but I now deeply admire anyone who can write a great ghost story. My most recent feature screenplay has placed in the Raindance (Top 20 Semi-finalist) and BlueCat Competitions (Top 75 Semi-finalist from 4,000 plus scripts). Always looking to improve my writing skills. If you see a script of mine here - I welcome and appreciate feedback. more...
