I wanted to tell a story about digital identity and online radicalization using the trojan horse of of animation and the vocabulary/lens of the swashbuckling fantasy genre.

The comedy led most of the film but at its heart I wanted to examine what would push someone to the fringes of society and, in this instance, don a pirate hat & go on swashbuckling adventures while avoiding their mother's calls.

I really love the world and characters in this film, and would love to continue going deeper into what their reality is like.
