About this submission

The film focuses on Erin Metivier and her journey as young person working in a non traditional career in Trinidad and Tobago.Erin’s grandparents own the popular Blue Crab restaurant in Tobago while her mother is a very successful chef. The restaurant serves ‘real Tobago’ food, it is a staple of Tobago’s restaurant scene and tourism industry. Debra, Erin's mothers, has won several regional and international awards and traveled the world as a chef. The film moves through all three generations to explore the relationship between food and culture.
