As a man of color this fight is intrinsically tied to my survival. If I didn’t have a camera in hand as an observer I would be on the front lines holding a shield and organizing. I feel called to contribute any way I can. It’s important to note I consider myself an artist, not an objective journalist or reporter. It is impossible for me to be neutral in this. To remove my experiences and trauma from this work is as impossible as detaching my skin from the hands I use to craft.
